This is the second in a series of posts that will be dealing with the time spent in Japan before I was able to write it down here. I'm hoping that I will be able pull my thoughts together in an organized manner as well as offer all my possible insights when they come. So, let's start then.

The semester abroad is coming to an end and Im not sure how I feel about it yet. I know when I studied in Prague it took a few weeks after coming home to begin realize the full impact my experience had had on me. This time, though, its slightly different, I think it`ll be the same. In all Im amazed at everything we`ve done in the past 5 weeks! When I think back to Tokyo it seems like forever ago that we were there. At the same time it feels like we only just got here.

Shortly after determining the teams we began to bowl. I played fair the first game bowling a 130 (which was our practice game) but didn't fare as well the next game, but there was an interesting story to along with it. I was the last bowler on my team, so I was told to wait for everyone else to come to the final frame where we would all bowl in turn and seeing as it was a very very close game between three of the four teams there definitely was enough suspense to make it exciting.

A couple of days ago, Marlon and Kevin hiked with me up a mountain up the road from our dorm. I`d been wanting to do it for a while, and I was prepared and extecting to climb stright up the hillside through the brush and trees, forging a way as we went. Fortunately, it didn`t come to that. There was a trail. We left about 3:30pm and arrived home very near 8:00.

June 20- We went to the TV station for fukuoka, there were lots of great people there and we got to see a live recording of a show. On the way out, it began to pour rain, hard hitting rain. I got soaked since i forgot to bring my umbrella. But 30 minutes later, it stopped raining and the Day Star came out. suddenly it was no longer wet, but humid and hot. after getting back from that, i pretty much spent the rest of teh day on the internet, getting my fix.

Hello again,

So much happens so fast on this trip that it is really really hard to keep up with the posts about what we did, especially since I don't have such easy access to the computers. I've noticed as well that everyone here seems to post about things collectively so some events that I might have forgotten to write about seem to be covered by others, so it all works out ok in the end.
Two nights ago a small group of us went out with the two guys from the Club House (the smaller cafeteria area where we get our meals) named Moto and Tomo. They are without a doubt two of the coolest guys you'll ever meet.

I can't believe there is only one week left! I don't want to go home… for the most part … Japan is great. I have decided i must come back again someday, no question. Maybe when it isn't raining and hot all the time. I love Japan and Japanese people. I can function here pretty well, despite barely knowing the language. It seems like there is always something to do here, and then after you are done doing things, it's nap time.

Weve been here for a little over three weeks now and Ive kept the camera (nicknamed Charlie) virtually strapped to me the entire time. So for the most part Ive been able to capture all the great moments with everyone. However, for the last couple days my body has been sending me S.O.S. messages to chill out. So I relaxed for half a day – haha. Today I feel much better!

We went to the KBC tv studio and radio studio today. It was a lot of fun. http://www.kbc.co.jp/tv/asadesu/ We met the news anchors that are on the front page of that website. I am not sure what their names are. The woman kept telling us to "Enjoy!" She was very lively and loud. She did some dances for us… for one she called it a samurai dance… It was really silly and funny. She liked Mark's (uzumaki's) hair.
