I really want to visit Japan on account of my own Japanese heritage (my dad is Japanese) as well as having studied the language for the last 2 years I plan to expand my knowledge of the Japanese and the culture, make a few friends and get a little more world experince in my skin. When Im free I like to prune up the bonsai trees (yes- for real), play in Photoshop, and watch movies.

Especially after reading some editorials written by an American man teaching English in Japan. I like movies, making new friends and learning about new and foreign things.

My interest in Japan and Japanese things in general developed by watching Anime, which is a fast-growing market in America. I found myself wanting to visit Japan. That's what this trip was for. Well, that, learning the language, and to make new friends. When I'm not traveling, I spend most of my time playing video games, rock climbing, and surfing. I'm very carefree, and like to enjoy life and not deal with things until they come. That said, people keep asking me what I want to do with the rest of my life, and while I don't have a definite answer, I'll most probably end up doing something involving either languages or computers. The latter probably has more possibilities...

Although Ive been to Japan 3 times in the past, this will be my first time for an extended period of time. Ill be beginning my 3rd year of Japanese language studies and am looking forward to the practice Ill over the next five weeks. I love gaming, manga (Japanese comic novels), and plans to open an American BBQ restaurant in Japan some day.

I like going to movies, hanging with my friends, Manga, and video games.
